About the Co-Founders

Tracey J. Moon

It is Tracey's passion for the human spirit and her entrepreneurial nature that lends her the characteristics needed to fulfill her vision for OutTriangle: that of a well-organized, cooperative and economically supportive community. She sees herself as a web-weaver, one who connects new and seasoned people in the community with their place in the world through volunteerism, activism and awareness of the opportunities available within the community.

Originally from Annapolis, MD, Tracey moved to the Triangle area in 1997. She holds a Degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Delaware and has been a NC Licensed Massage Therapist since 1998. Tracey lives by one of her favorite quotes from Henry David Thoreau: "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've imagined." As such, she has managed and owned several businesses, from a distribution company to a hotel massage therapy business, as well as her private practice in massage therapy. She is a past Vice President of the Triangle Business & Professional Guild.

Tracey lives in the Duke Park neighborhood of Durham with her partner, Sharon, and their five cats. She loves to practice yoga, garden, and spend time on home renovation.

Jessica C. Lamb

Jessica Lamb was one of the original founders of OUTTriangle. Her clear vision of cooperation among the GLBT community as well as her passion for collaborative community resources is what helped launch OUTTriangle in 2006. Perhaps her vision was most clearly defined when she said, "I see OUTTriangle as a place where GLBT individuals, businesses and organizations can go for any need they have in the Triangle area." Today OUTTriangle has become just that for the community.
